Østerbro International School) is a not-for-profit IB Continuum World School in Copenhagen offering IB Programmes from Pre-K - Grade 12. We are seeking a qualified and experienced Spanish Language Acquisition teacher to join our Middle School's Language Acquisition team.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in teaching Spanish across the IB MYP and DP programmes. In this role, you will facilitate language learning, collaborate with the Language. Acquisition team to develop and deliver curriculum, and guide students in achieving the subject's learning objectives. Experience teaching Spanish is required; IB MYP and DP

experience is highly desirable.

The successful candidate should:

Have a recognized teaching qualification with specialization in Spanish language instruction.
Have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience teaching Spanish as a second language, preferably in an international school setting.
Have native or near-native English speaking and writing abilities
Have knowledge of, and a commitment to, the educational philosophies of the
International Baccalaureate, specifically relating to the Middle Years Programme & Diploma Programme.
Have the ability to plan, deliver and reflect on lessons which stimulate and motivate student learning.
Have the ability to differentiate instruction and assessments for students.
Have the ability to work and plan in collaboration within different curricular teams.
Have experience in working with a team of professionals.
Have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Be organized and reliable.
Enjoy teaching and working in a multicultural environment.
