Long Term Substitute Preschool Spanish Teacher:


*This role will begin in mid-February 2026. As a Long Term Substitute Preschool Spanish Teacher, you'll be covering for the role of a Preschool Spanish Lead Teacher from mid-February 2026 through the end of March 2026, with the potential for a future position. By joining our vibrant educational community, you will play a key role in shaping the learning journey of our students, with a strong focus on academic excellence and social-emotional development.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons that connect classroom learning to real-world experiences, inspiring enthusiasm and academic excellence in line with IB and state standards.

  • Differentiating instruction using a variety of developmentally appropriate teaching and assessment methods to meet the needs of all learners.

  • Monitoring and supporting the academic, emotional, and social development of students.

  • Maintaining high expectations for student behavior to ensure a positive and productive classroom environment.

  • Fostering a strong sense of community by actively engaging with students, colleagues, and families.

  • Collaborating constructively with colleagues, leadership, and staff across the school.

  • Pursuing ongoing professional growth and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Participating in curriculum development, team planning, and faculty meetings.

  • Performing additional duties as assigned.


Requirements:


  • Excellent command of both Spanish and English.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching Early Childhood.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education preferred.

  • Experience with the IB PYP and/or dual language programs preferred.

  • A true passion for teaching and inspiring young learners.

  • Strong communication skills, humility, and empathy.

  • A positive, solution-oriented mindset.

  • Strong team spirit and a collaborative approach.

  • A commitment to diversity and inclusion.


Salary:


  • $5,900/month
