Long Term Substitute Preschool Spanish Teacher:

As a Long Term Substitute Preschool Spanish Teacher, you'll be covering for the role of a Preschool Spanish Lead Teacher from mid-February 2026 through the end of March 2026, with the potential for a future position. By joining our vibrant educational community, you will play a key role in shaping the learning journey of our students, with a strong focus on academic excellence and social-emotional development.

Key Responsibilities:

Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons that connect classroom learning to real-world experiences, inspiring enthusiasm and academic excellence in line with IB and state standards.
Differentiating instruction using a variety of developmentally appropriate teaching and assessment methods to meet the needs of all learners.
Monitoring and supporting the academic, emotional, and social development of students.
Maintaining high expectations for student behavior to ensure a positive and productive classroom environment.
Fostering a strong sense of community by actively engaging with students, colleagues, and families.
Collaborating constructively with colleagues, leadership, and staff across the school.
Pursuing ongoing professional growth and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
Participating in curriculum development, team planning, and faculty meetings.
Performing additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Excellent command of both Spanish and English.
Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching Early Childhood.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education preferred.
Experience with the IB PYP and/or dual language programs preferred.

Salary:

$5,900/month
