Eastwood Global is seeking qualified and experienced educators to teach Spanish A and Spanish B at the DP level for the Aurora Timetable (Pacific Standard Time) in our specialized online programs. • The Academic Director: For the effective delivery of the curriculum and the effective use of Eastwood’s digital learning environment.

• The Director: For the support of and adherence to Eastwood Global’s policies.

  
  

General Responsibilities:

Every service provider will:

• Collaborate with the Academic Director to develop and deliver the school’s curriculum.

• Work with all teachers to ensure the curriculum provides a supportive learning environment for all students.

• Promote a culture of diversity and inclusion where students strive for academic excellence.

• Commit to continuous professional development and life-long learning.

Specific Responsibilities:

A. To Lead Learning:

1. Ensure a collaborative focus on improving student learning outcomes through effective understanding, delivery, and analysis of the curriculum.

2. Differentiate instruction based on each student’s learning needs.

3. Utilize a variety of creative teaching methods.

4. Contribute to the development of interdisciplinary learning opportunities.

5. Analyze and evaluate student performance data, taking appropriate action to support individual learning.

6. Encourage students to actively engage in developing their own learning outcomes.

7. Attend scheduled meetings.

B. To Lead Teaching:

1. Support the delivery of a high-quality, innovative curriculum.

2. Be familiar with course syllabi, support materials, and relevant regulations.

3. Adhere to all requirements and deadlines for external examinations and internal assessments.

4. Ensure curriculum mapping is accurate and unit planners and presentations are available as required by the Academic Director.

5. Effectively use digital platforms (ManageBac, Google Apps, Kognity) in line with expectations.

   
   

C. To Support Quality Assurance:

1. Uphold and support school policies.

2. Accurately record all assessment data.

3. Evaluate classroom learning effectiveness using multiple sources, including student assessment data, learning outcomes, and feedback.

4. Record student attendance accurately and promptly.

5. Provide timely feedback and record any safeguarding concerns.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related subject.

• Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in the specified subject.

• Proficiency in online teaching platforms.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

• Strong commitment to student-centered learning.

Pay Structure:
