Description of Position:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Principal to lead our school and
uphold our educational standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong
leadership skills, a deep understanding of the IB / Montessori philosophy, and
a passion for shaping the future of our students. As Principal, you will be
responsible for overseeing academic programs, supporting faculty and staff,
fostering a positive learning environment, and collaborating with parents and
community members.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for the school.
Manage day-to-day school operations, including staff and student affairs.
Oversee curriculum development and ensure it aligns with Montessori principles.
Promote a culture of inclusivity, diversity, and respect within the school community.
Foster professional development and collaboration among faculty and staff.
Engage with parents and guardians to build strong partnerships and open communication.
Implement and monitor school policies and regulations, ensuring compliance.
Advocate for the school and represent its interests in the wider community.
Monitor student progress and wellbeing, and address any issues that arise.
Develop and manage the school's budget in collaboration with the school and board.
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Education, School Administration, or a related field.
Experience as a Principal or in a senior leadership role in an educational institution.
Strong knowledge of IB / Montessori philosophy and educational methods.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively and build positive relationships with staff, students, and parents.
Fluency in English is required; proficiency in French and/or Arabic is a plus.
A track record of successful leadership and school improvement initiatives.
