Aalesund International School (AaIS) is a young and growing school located in the scenic coastal city of Aalesund, Norway. The school is an authorized International Baccalaureate (IB) World School offering the Primary Years

Programme (PYP) and the Middle Years Programme (MYP), and currently serves approximately 150 students.

We are seeking to appoint an inspirational, motivated, and creative teacher / special education teacher to join our dynamic team from August 2025.

This is a 100% permanent position, primarily teaching students within the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP). Experience with the IB programme is considered an advantage.

Qualifications and Personal Attributes

Relevant teaching qualifications; a Master's degree is preferred
Experience with or a strong interest in the International Baccalaureate program
Commitment to student-centered learning and educational excellence
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong ICT skills and adaptability to digital tools
High cultural awareness and international-mindedness
A strong work ethic, integrity, and commitment to collaborative teamwork
Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
Reports directly to the Principal and General Manager
