Brief Description of Position:
The Village School is seeking a highly qualified High School Mathematics Teacher to deliver rigorous and engaging instruction that develops students’ conceptual understanding, procedural fluency, and problem-solving abilities.
The successful candidate will:
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Mathematics or a related field.
Teaching certification or equivalent professional training.
Strong pedagogical understanding of mathematics instruction, assessment, and differentiation.
Demonstrated expertise in teaching secondary mathematics.
IB and/or AP experience preferred (e.g., IB Mathematics: Analysis & Approaches or
Applications & Interpretation; AP Calculus or AP Statistics).
Commitment to continuous professional growth.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Mathematics or a related field.
Teaching certification or equivalent professional training.
Strong pedagogical understanding of biology instruction, laboratory design, and assessment.
Demonstrated expertise in secondary-level biology.
IB and/or AP experience preferred (e.g., IB Biology SL/HL, AP Biology).
