IT ASSISTANT - FULL-TIME - DENMARK

Founded in 2009, International School of Hellerup is a

not-for-profit IB Continuum World School in Copenhagen offering IB Programmes from Pre-K Grade 12.

We are seeking a skilled IT Assistant who will maintain our information technology systems and networks, including server maintenance. The successful candidate will undertake a broad range of tasks primarily dealing with general IT enquiries and IT support for students and staff members as well as contributing to IT projects within the school. The appointee will work both independently and as part of a small team. The IT Assistant will be supporting our two school campuses in the Hellerup and Østerbro areas in Copenhagen.


This is a full-time, temporary position during the following periods, with the possibility of a permanent position from August 2026:


  • May 16 - June 3, 2025 (approximately 2 weeks)

  • November 24 - 28, 2025 (5 days)

  • February 2 - April 14, 2026 (about 10 weeks)



General responsibilities:


  • Providing IT support for students and staff members (password resets, helping with sound and projector issues etc.)

  • Setting up new students and staff members (in both Active Directory and Google Workspace)

  • Setting up IT equipment, such as laptops, desktops and configuration of projectors

  • IT maintenance of IT equipment (laptops, desktops, tablets and servers)

  • Administrating the Network

  • Help with IT projects



The successful candidate will:


  • Have an IT Support degree

  • Have basic knowledge of Office 365 and Google Workspace, Windows Server (active directory, group policy, printers), Cisco and Aruba (routers, switch management, Wifi), Windows & macOS

  • Have server maintenance skills

  • Have a high fluency in written and spoken English

  • Demonstrate strong collaborative and interpersonal skills

  • Enjoy working in an internationally-minded environment
