Brief Description of School:

International School; English-medium; 150 students, aged 3 to 19.

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Primary School to lead and inspire our Primary section. The successful candidate will be responsible for the academic, operational, and pastoral leadership of the Primary School, ensuring the highest standards of teaching and learning, staff development and student well-being.

Essential Requirements:

• Postgraduate / Master’s degree in education, Educational Leadership, or Educational Management.

• Qualified Teacher Status (Primary) or equivalent teaching license.

• Minimum of 4 years’ leadership experience in an internationally accredited, English-medium school.

• As this position will also include the coaching and mentoring of Primary School staff, an experience in teaching / lecturing at a university or teacher training college will be an advantage.

• Familiarity with international curricula and accreditation frameworks is essential

• Demonstrated ability to work in a multicultural, collaborative environment.

• Preference will be given to candidates who have at least B1 German and French, along with professional fluency in English.

Package:      

• CHF96,000 to CHF100,000 p.a depending on qualifications and experience.

• 2-bedroom furnished flat, within walking distance, provided.
