HEAD OF EARLY YEARS - TURKEY

Çakır Schools, an innovative IB Continuum School in Bursa, Türkiye, is seeking an outstanding Head of Early Years to lead our Kindergarten division.

The Role:

The Head of Early Years will provide strategic and instructional leadership for the Kindergarten division, ensuring a nurturing, inclusive, and high-quality learning environment for all children.

The successful candidate will lead curriculum development, support teacher growth, foster strong partnerships with families, and contribute to the school’s culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience:

The ideal candidate will:

• Possess native-level or near-native English proficiency.

• Have successful leadership experience in Early Years and/or international school settings.

• Hold a degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field.

• Demonstrate a strong understanding of child development, inquiry-based learning, and concept-driven education.

• Have experience leading and mentoring teaching teams.

• Possess knowledge of the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP); previous IB experience is highly desirable.

• Be confident in integrating digital technologies and AI-supported educational tools to enhance learning and school effectiveness.

• Demonstrate excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.

• Be committed to student well-being, professional growth, and lifelong learning.
