not-for-profit IB Continuum World School in Copenhagen offering IB Programmes from Pre-K Grade 12.

We are looking to employ a qualified and experienced IB MYP French Language Acquisition Teacher to join our Middle School’s Language Acquisition team. The role of the French Language Acquisition teacher will be to facilitate learning French language learners, develop and write curriculum with the Language acquisition team and teach the objectives of the subject. Experience in teaching French is required and MYP experience is desired.

The successful candidate should:

Have a recognized teaching qualification with specialization in French language instruction.
Have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience teaching French as a second language, preferably in an international school setting. Have native or near-native English speaking and writing abilities.
Have knowledge of, and a commitment to, the educational philosophies of the International Baccalaureate, specifically relating to the Middle Years Programme.
Have the ability to plan, deliver and reflect on lessons which stimulate and motivate student learning.
Have the ability to differentiate instruction and assessments for students.
Have the ability to work and plan in collaboration within different curricular teams.
Have experience in working with a team of professionals.
Have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Be organized and reliable.
Enjoy teaching and working in a multicultural environment.
