Description of Position:
Responsible for delivering high-quality English instruction within the IB MYP and DP frameworks, fostering critical thinking,
literary analysis, and strong communication skills. The role includes planning engaging lessons, assessing student progress, supporting inquiry-based learning, and contributing positively to the school’s academic and pastoral culture.
Skills and Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in the IB DP curriculum
Master's Degree or higher in English or related field
B Ed, PGCE or equivalent
Strong knowledge of IB English concepts and principles
Ability to create engaging lesson plans that promote critical thinking skills among students
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Proficient with technology tools used for instruction, such as AI, interactive whiteboards, online learning platforms, etc.
Passionate about teaching and learning and sharing that with your students
Never being satisfied with the status quo and striving to constantly get better as a teacher

Salary range:
Teachers with a BA and 4 years: $42000 / Teachers with a MA and 8 years: $45000
