Description of School:
PSI, Kyiv is a not-for-profit school founded in Ukraine, with a parent-elected Board of Governors, responsible for the long-term sustainability of the school as per the School's Mission, Vision, Core Values, Parameters, and strategic direction.
PSI is the first and the only school in Ukraine that is authorised to teach the three International Baccalaureate ® (IB) programmes: Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme and Diploma Programme. PSI is also accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, a CIS member and a CEESA member.
PSI was established in 1994 and reached an enrollment of 550 students in 2021. After the Russian invasion in February 2022, PSI closed the school building and operated online for the rest of the school year. The school relocated to Warsaw in August 2022 and operated on the ASW campus. In August 2023, PSI returned to Kyiv and is now offering a home to the Ukrainian and expat community who feel they belong in Kyiv. The physical and mental health of students and teachers is a priority for us. The school has bomb shelters and whenever the air alerts sound, we continue learning in the shelter. Teachers also participate in workshops on trauma informed practices.
The atmosphere at the school is very positive and the morale is very high as we are determined to offer a safe space to our students and continue to offer the IB programmes in Kyiv. Kyiv is an amazing and vibrant city and we all feel privileged to live here. The overseas hire teachers consider the placement at our school the best placement in their international career. All staff, Ukrainian and expat, decided to renew their contract for 2023-2024. In addition, we are hiring new staff as the student population gradually grows again. Our student enrollment is currently at 104 students and we expect to open in August 2024
with 160 students.

We are looking to hire a MS Mathematics / Integrated Science teacher. This position could possibly be combined with the MYP
Coordinator position.

Max entry step 37,000 USD net depending on degree and experience
