Description of Position:

Description of Position: Planète Montessori International School is seeking a dynamic and experienced IB Diploma Programme (DP) Coordinator to lead the implementation and growth of our DP, complementing our authorized PYP and candidate MYP programmes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background teaching a DP subject, a passion for teaching, and a commitment to fostering the holistic development of our students.

Key responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of the IB DP, ensuring alignment with IB philosophy, standards, and practices. Lead curriculum planning and support delivery of DP subjects and the DP core (TOK, EE, CAS). Teach from one of the DP subject groups or IB Core

Provide guidance to students and families on subject choices, assessments, and university pathways. Support and mentor DP teachers, coordinating professional development and collaborative planning. Serve as the main liaison with the IB and manage programme administration, policies, and examinations. Willingness to cover MYP classes as a substitute as needed during DP Authorization phase.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's degree preferred).
Teaching certification/license.
Previous experience teaching or coordinating in the IB Diploma Programme.
Strong knowledge of IB standards and practices, DP framework and inquiry- based teaching practices.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Fluency in English required (additional languages such as French or Arabic is an advantage).
