Brief Description of Position:

The Arabic Language teacher is responsible for delivering effective, engaging, and evidence-based instruction within the Arabic Language Key Learning Area. This includes fostering critical thinking, problem-solving, and scientific inquiry across junior and senior levels. Teachers are expected to support the College ethos, collaborate with colleagues, and contribute to student wellbeing and academic success.

Selection Criteria:

Essential: 

• NESA-accredited teacher with teaching experience.

• Strong understanding of IB/NESA curriculum and pedagogy.

• Demonstrated classroom management and communication skills.

• Commitment to Islamic values and the College’s mission.

• Working With Children Check (WWCC) clearance. 

Desirable:

• Experience teaching in IB World Schools. 

• Familiarity with inquiry-based learning. 

• Postgraduate qualifications in education or Arabic.
