Description of School:

Learner’s World International School (LWIS) Istanbul was established in September 2020 as a private, international, English-medium, co-educational day school (K to 12). LWIS Istanbul is learner-centered in philosophy of education and multi-national in curriculum, staff, and learners.


The school is currently seeking a full-time PYP teacher for the academic year 2023-2024.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree & Teaching certification from an accredited educational organization

  • IB PYP teaching experience is preferred

  • Experience teaching in international contexts is preferred

  • A native speaker or a bilingual speaker of English language

  • Strong communication skills in Arabic and/or Turkish is a plus


Requirements:

  • Candidates must provide evidence of a clean criminal record/background checks in their country of origin and all countries that they have worked in.

  • Based in Istanbul or is willing to relocate.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary will be competitive and commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the candidate. Benefits include health insurance, annual leave, fully furnished accommodation and 1 round-trip ticket from/to country of origin (for candidates from outside the country).
