Description of School:

The International Preparatory School (IPS) is a fully authorised IB World School offering the Primary Years Program. We are a medium sized (400 pupils) private English pre-primary and primary school situated in Labourdonnais Village, a rural sugar growing area in the north of the beautiful island of Mauritius. We are constantly looking to build on our strengths and move our school forward to raise students’ achievements.

We welcome learners from age 3-11. The students take an active role in their education and develop responsibility for their actions; they are encouraged to ask challenging questions, to know themselves, care for others and achieve excellence on their own terms.

As an internationally minded school, we are inspired by the diversity of our community and the world at large.
