As the Head of School at the International School of Hellerup you will play a pivotal role in providing strategic leadership and securing outstanding education for students aged 3-19.

As Head of School your primary responsibilities will include:
Ensuring high international academic standards, promoting excellence, and driving continuous improvement in teaching, learning, and administration.
Taking overall responsibility for matters related to education, administration, finance, and management, in accordance with Board policies and with the support of delegations through the leadership team.
Providing a safe, secure, and inclusive environment for all staff, students, and teachers, ensuring their well-being and promoting a positive school culture.
Additionally, you will:
Work closely with the leadership team concerning all issues related to the day-to-day operation of the school sites, including the daily supervision of faculty, staff, students, and the campuses.
Collaborate with the leadership team, faculty, students, and parents to establish a culture of high expectations regarding attendance, commitment to learning, and an environment of inclusiveness and respect.
Uphold and enforce school policies and expectations, ensuring they are effectively communicated and followed by all stakeholders.
Actively engage with stakeholders to cultivate robust relationships and a strong sense of community.

Please be aware that you need to have eligibility to be Head of School (in Danish: rektor) in a Danish gymnasium in accordance with Danish regulations and meet all qualifying requirements of the Danish Ministry of Education.

We expect to have the first round of interviews on Saturday 23rd September, and the second round of interviews, including stakeholder meetings, from 10th - 11th October.
