Description of school:
The International School of Ouagadougou (ISO) is a nonprofit, independent, coeducational day school that offers an English language educational program to children between the ages of three and 19, from PK-grade 12.
The school was established in 1976, and its mission is to provide an education to children from wide ranging backgrounds, including children of diplomats, business people, and international development organizations. ISO is fully accredited through the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (MSA) and is also authorized to offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma.
Description of positions:
The school is seeking an Art Teacher to create and implement a transformative art program making a visual statement on campus. Classes would include G11/12 IB, G10 Art Elective, K-5 General Art.
Requirements:
Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years teaching experience, preferably in Africa or similar demographic.
Updated IB PD a plus. Collaborative planning and support required.
