We are looking for an experienced, talented and dynamic educational management expert to lead our middle school department.

Description of Position:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Admissions Coordinator. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of the admissions cycle for Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12 in collaboration with the school’s leadership team, and will serve as the primary point of contact for the admissions office. This is a part-time, 80% position.

Key Responsibiltiies:

  • Serve as the initial contact person for all admissions-related matters to both internal and external stakeholders, particularly prospective students and their families

  • Manage applications and all applications data through the online application portal (OpenApply)

  • Conduct school tours for prospective students and their families

  • Participate in family and student interviews and administers admissions testing to determine suitability for admission

  • Lead the admissions, onboarding, retention and withdrawal processes with input from the leadership team and other stakeholders at the school.

  • Work closely with the Marketing and Communications Coordinator to develop and implement a strategic marketing programme for admissions and enrollment

Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, the candidate should:

  • Have a university degree in a related field or a Bachelor of Education

  • Have excellent interpersonal skills,with an ability to build relationships with prospective students and families, faculty members and staff

  • Have excellent written, presentation and verbal skills

  • have excellent administration, time management and organisational skills, and an ability to deliver against agreed targets

  • have a strong knowledge of an international school’s clientele and an informed understanding of the needs of the individuals within the school’s wider community

  • have the ability to operate sustainably in a highly challenging, demanding role and to resolve challenging interactions diplomatically and effectively

  • have an affinity with and an interest in international education

This experience is also highly desirable:

  • Experience in admissions and enrollment management

  • Experience in business management, marketing, or a related field which prepares the candidate for the effective communication of the school’s benefits and attributes to prospective students and families.
