Description of Position:
We are currently recruiting a PYP homeroom teacher. She/he will be part of a community that develops young people of talent and potential from Mombasa to be the well-educated, ethical and pluralistic leaders of tomorrow.
The successful candidate will be responsible for effective teaching practice that embraces inquiry teaching and learning methods and differentiate activities to meet the needs of all students. She/he will authentically assess, record and track the progress of all students and communicated this information to parents and guardians.
The successful candidate should have minimum a bachelor’s degree with professional teaching qualification and strong knowledge and understanding of the IB PYP Programme. A specialism in the Arts or Math’s would be advantageous but not essential as there is a possibility of leading one of these specialist subjects across the Junior School.
