We are seeking professional and passionate IB teachers. The successful candidates must have a desire to work within a multicultural working environment and have good understanding of IB pedagogies.

We are an IB candidate school with Grades 1-5 with a sixth grade being added in the 20/21 academic year.

Application for Position:
We are seeking professional and passionate homeroom teachers. We are expanding rapidly so we need homeroom teachers from grades 1-5. The successful candidates must have a desire to work within an IB environment and have an understanding of inquiry-based pedagogies.
In this role, you will be responsible for teaching English to EAL students, but you will also be responsible for co-teaching science/social studies and personal social (a class focusing on identify and interactions) alongside the Chinese homeroom teacher. As our grades have multiple classes, you will also be a part of the collaborative planning team for teaching the Units of Inquiry. As well as scheduled classes, we also ask our teachers to teach two clubs during school time (this could be a language, sport, arts, or anything of interest).
Additionally, you will be responsible for implemented the school’s positive behavior management policy.
Since we are a new school, there is great potential to grow. There will be leadership opportunities for the perfect candidate.
Additional duties include:
Developing and applying lesson plans.
Utilizing assessment to inform your teaching.
Develop and maintain a positive learning environment.
Being professional in your conduct towards students and colleagues.
Native (or near native) English speaker
Must have a PGCE or similar.
Demonstrated Teaching Experience
IB experience is ideal however, a desire to work in an IB environment is a must.
Must have a positive and professional personality with great energy and sense of humour.
Basic technology skills (understanding of Apple and the Microsoft Office Suite)
Experience with ESL students will be beneficial.

The school follows the Chinese Lunar Calendar. This means that there is no Christmas break but it is compensated with a longer break for Chinese New Year.
